JOB VACANCY: Panel Secretariat/Administrative Officer

£24,500 – Full time

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

This exciting new role is comprised of two distinct parts, Secretariat to the Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel and as Administrative Officer for the Institute of Fundraising in Scotland. We’re looking for a highly organised multi-tasker who can think on their feet. It’s important that the post holder can work with sensitive information, understands Scotland’s third sector, and can work closely with a range of colleagues.

As Panel Secretariat, you’ll provide administrative support for the panel and participate in the development of written guidance for the sector in Scotland. In your role as Administrative Officer with the IoF, you will support the IoF Scotland Executive Committee and staff to make sure the Edinburgh headquarters is run smoothly and efficiently.

The Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel was established for the purposes of overseeing enhanced self-regulation of fundraising in Scotland, to be responsible for fundraising standards in Scotland and to handle fundraising complaints related to Scottish registered charities. The core functions of the Panel are:

(i) to oversee fundraising standards in Scotland; and

(ii) to oversee fundraising complaints.
